- Rubber duck debugging is now available as a service. Not that I'd need it, I have two penquins to talk to on my desk.
- Professor Andrew Tanenbaum of MINIX fame is retiring.
- Apollo 11 Guidance Computer sources are in public domain and available for download. I haven't the faintest what I'm looking at, of course, but it's cool nevertheless.
- lwn.net had a good two-part article on inotify.
- John Graham-Cumming's fun talk about how everything has been done before at OSCON.
